Problem Upgrade ASA5520 v8.2.5 to v9.0.3

Hello all,

We tried to upgrade our cluster Asa5520 version 9.0.3 last night!

Today, the flow dysfunctions for, and we had an error in the GUI (Ressource Connect limit)

why have we got this error, hardware it's ok for version 9 ? :

Hardware:   ASA5520, 2048 MB RAM, CPU Pentium 4 Celeron 2000 MHz,

Internal ATA Compact Flash, 256MB

BIOS Flash M50FW080 @ 0xfff00000, 1024KB

A downgrade emergency had to be made.

Someone could help me on this problem,

Can you please post more specific of the problem?

Also, I believe the correct upgrade path is 8.2.5 -> 8.4 -> 9.x.

Please try upgrading first to 8.4 and see if you have any problems. If not, then try upgrading to 9.x.

Hi Mike,

my customer upgrade cluster 8.2.5 --> 9.x it's same problem, they had ressource limit after 6 hours.

Me i upgrade cluster to 8.2.5 --> 8.4.7 --> 9.0.3 it's same problem they had ressource limit after 4 hour.

I have a show tech when my customer had this problem,

Hi,

I feel that the major change in the IOS was from 8.3(1) so i think you should upgrade from 8.2-->8.3(1) --> 8.3(2)--> 9.0

Directly upgrading to 8.4 might give some bugs.

about your problem kindly elaborate on this, what issue exactly are you facing?
