Hi Experts,
I am designing a Ring topology to connect all all DRs and back to CR sites. Do I need to consider what is the maximum DRs
which I am able to connect in the Ring and I am thinking does the latency will be affected if more sites will join into the Ring.
Which factors will affect the latency of the ring? What my situation is those DRs (ospf) are connected by 1G SFP via the the Wan link Fibre in Local Region (without Oversea) May I know know can I achieve below 1 ms latency for all DRs in any failover situation when there are total 22 DRs ( A to K ) are interconnecting in the ring for any failover fault?
Current Situation.
1. Bandwidth 1G interface between DRs.
2. Distance (Local region within 40km between DRs )
3. Hardware compatibility (Assume Cisco Cat 9300 Layer 3)
4. Topology (OSPF, BGP, MPLS L3 VPN)
5. Traffic ( around 10M per link )
