I have 4 service node (Nexus Dashboard) and have multi-site scenario. Can I use it all 4 in a single site ? Is there any challenges in doing so?
And from the above scenario when I implement all nexus dashboard in a single site. How much bandwidth is required for nexus dashboard insight traffic at the WAN link when devices (2*Spine and 20*Leaf) sends data through WAN to other site nexus dashboard? So that I can plan the bandwidth on the WAN link accordingly. Need help urgently
Thanks in Advance.
@Gary25Bell Do you know someone .

@Jainul Hi Jainul, you can setup 3 maters nodes and 1 worker node as a cluster in a single site.
Each Nexus Dashboard cluster typically consists of 1 or 3 master nodes. For 3-node clusters, you can also provision a number of worker nodes to enable horizontal scaling and standby nodes for easy cluster recovery in case of a master node failure. For maximum number of worker and standby nodes supported in this release, see the "Verified Scalability Limits" sections of the Cisco Nexus Dashboard Release Notes.
For a details deployment model and bandwidth, you must always use the lowest RTT requirement when deploying the Nexus Dashboard cluster and services. For example, if you plan to co-host the Insights and Orchestrator services, site connectivity RTT must not exceed 50ms.
Service |
Connectivity |
Maximum RTT |
---|---|---|
Nexus Dashboard cluster |
Between nodes |
150 ms |
Nexus Dashboard Orchestrator |
Between nodes |
150 ms |
To sites |
For APIC sites: 500 ms For NDFC sites: 150 ms |
|
Nexus Dashboard Insights |
Between nodes |
50 ms |
To sites |
50 ms |
