Im trying to deploy the Nexus Dashboard using ova.

what subnet is required for the management address subnet. how many IPs does it require. the document suggests quite a large subnet. Is that required and is it routable over the network or is it just used in the internally in the dashboard?

Document. step 11

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/dcn/nd/3x/deployment/cisco-nexus-dashboard-and-services-deployment-guide-311/nd-deploy-esx-31x.html

Thanks

Hello @michael18

IP MGMT convered in step 11 is the IP used for GUI access.

Use your management subnet (or other). In the example the subnet used is a /21. The first IP of the subnet is the Gateway and one IP of that subnet is configured as mgmt IP.

Got it! Im entering a single IP for management from a subnet with mask in / format. And the gateway as single IP. I understand now.
