No syslogs on Nexus

Any idea why a Nexus 93180YC-FX switch would stop showing any syslogs even when entering "show logging"?

We already tried 'clear logging logfile'  with no difference.

Version is 7.0(3)I7(10)

Hi @RahmaSallm

You can use the command "show system internal flash" to check the /var/log/ directory and ensure that space is available for that directory. If the directory is 100% then you will have to clear some space (you could check with TAC on what and how to).

Stay safe,

Sergiu

You are right.

I see that it is full:

13:44:47.182#none               51200   51200         0       100% /var/volatile/log

but to see the contents of it would the command be:

show system internal flash dir /var/volatile/log/

or

show system internal flash dir /var/volatile/log/external/

I've been googling that but all I can find is

show system internal flash dir /var/log/external/
