Hello All,
I am trying to build a netconf ned for a ISR4331 router but with no success so far.
I have downloaded the yang files from the device and performed a dependcy check (that is OK for the 266 yang files).
When I run the command build-netconf-ned command, it first starts saying:
Ignoring NCS-internal module "iana-crypt-hash.yang"
Ignoring NCS-internal module "ietf-netconf.yang"
Ignoring NCS-internal module "ietf-netconf-acm.yang"
Ignoring NCS-internal module "ietf-netconf-monitoring.yang"
Ignoring NCS-internal module "ietf-netconf-notifications.yang"
Ignoring NCS-internal module "ietf-netconf-with-defaults.yang"
Ignoring NCS-internal module "ietf-yang-smiv2.yang"
Ignoring NCS-internal module "tailf-acm.yang"
Ignoring NCS-internal module "tailf-common.yang"
Ignoring NCS-internal module "tailf-common-monitoring.yang"
Ignoring NCS-internal module "tailf-common-query.yang"
Ignoring NCS-internal module "tailf-netconf-inactive.yang"
Ignoring NCS-internal module "tailf-netconf-monitoring.yang"
Ignoring NCS-internal module "tailf-netconf-query.yang"
Ignoring NCS-internal module "tailf-netconf-transactions.yang"
Ignoring NCS-internal module "tailf-rest-error.yang"
Ignoring NCS-internal module "tailf-rest-query.yang"
Ignoring NCS-internal module "tailf-webui.yang"
Ignoring NCS-internal module "tailf-xsd-types.yang"
And then, ends up with an error saying: augmented/tailf-confd-monitoring@2013-06-14.yang:65: error: grouping 'live_ncs_common-monitoring-objects' in module 'tailf-common-monitoring' not found
Any tip to avoid ignoring the tailf files?
Thank you for your precious help.
EDIT1:
It seems that this issue comes from the fact that the ISR4331 embeds an IOS XE that offers four views (SNMP, Native, OpenConfig and IETF). Following Jan's advice in his post, I have chosen the Native view.
However, the file cisco-ia.yang seems broken, does this matter?
Thank you!

You need to disable cisco-ia.yang to make the NED work. It contains functionality to configure and work with the NETCONF subsystem, so nothing you'd normally have to touch for automation use cases.

What version of NSO are you using?
