Hello folks, currently enrolled in the online packet tracer course and i am currently in module 2 and lab 2.2.1.5 Create a simple network.
As seen above the default gateway is 208.67.220.220 as per the config in the lab workbook.
Now the config for the default gateway is 208.67.220.1 as per the lab workbook.
My question is why the default gateway is different or is it a typo error ??
It should be 208.67.220.1 in both cases.
For reference it is page 10,11,12 in the Create a simple network using packet tracer.
thanks

208.67.220.220 is DNS server which is Windows- based server with DNS enabled ( Server0 box icon); Also, looks like your DHCP server starts giving out IPs from x.220
208.67.220.1 is router IP which meant to be your main gateway router or ISP router.
note: This site is more for real-world issues with real gear rather then academic and learning support. We do not have access to lab workbooks for your course. it is possible that you can find someone here who studies for CCNA via your course but I would try CLN, Cisco Learning Network, where you can find people studying networking and Cisco certs. The CLN is where you will find academic and learning support.

I have seen this before; I think issue was missing default gateway settings; you have 2 pools on server. Fix one that has no default gateway (make 2 pools identical) . then go to wireless router gui and status to refresh its IP settings (release, renew IP). Ping from laptop to Server should work.
