15454 replacement

my organization has decided to move away from the 15454 MSPP.  I'm looking for a good solution to replace that piece of equipment.  we currently get inbound service through OC-48 links and break them out in the MSPP down to our ASR1006s.  would it be wise to move to the ASR 9Ks with channelized OC-48 cards as a replacement and can that even be done?

You can use new NCS 2006/2015 chassis in your network with 10x10 TXP cards.
