Cisco 9300 - Error reading DOM data from transceiver

Hello

I have a situation after reloading C9300 switch (version 17.12.3)

interface te1/1/4 go to down state or another ports

and log display:

%SFF8472-3-READ_ERROR: Te1/1/4: Error reading DOM data from transceiver

if I unplug / plug the sfp in Te1/1/4, interface go back TO UP state after a long time

and when I connected to the switch with console I don’t have access to the switch

Some times i have access only after 30/40 minutes

I tried this when all the switch is with official sfps, and another try with compatible sfps

(it is not config problem)

is this bug ? how to fix it ?

Log message %SFF8472-3-READ_ERROR: Te1/1/4: Error reading DOM data from transceiver is mentioned for bug ID CSCvn13758 for product Catalyst 9300 Series Switches and affected release is 16.6.5

Cisco has not mentioned for 17.12.3 release, but the log message is same as you mentioned.
