Dear All,
I have two links of 2Mbps each from same service provider landing to two different serial port at my end.
What I am looking for is to club both the link as one single aggregate link of 4Mbps but the constrain is my IOS which is 12.0(25).
With 12.3 I am aware to configure Multilink PPP and clubbing two interface with this sinle multilik but please suggest how to go ahead with this clubbing with available IOS 12.0
Awaiting your response.
With best regards,
Mani

Well if you r using dynamic routing protocol, then it is possible to load balance between two link. Again I think it's possible to do multilink PPP in 12.0(25) version code but I'm not sure whether 2500 12.0(25) version code supports multilink PPP.

Dear All,
Thannks for your reply. I was able to configure it using virtual-template option and it's working fine as well as load are also getting balanced both side.
With best regards,
Mani

I implemented the same technology for T1x2. Except I didn't use virtual-template. I basically created a multilink interface and set encap on two serial int to PPP and put them into a multilink group. The only trouble I've ever seen is that my NMS doesn't do layer 2 interface management so when a T1 goes down you'll need to trap link down or something as the MU interface won't drop if one T1 is down.

Hi Guys,
You should use the RAD IMAXI-E1. It works on the Bonding protocol and automatically clubb ur bandwidth.
u need to place 2 Imaxi -E1 in both side. It is basically inverse multiplexures. Cisco does the same.
It will combine ur 4 E1s to ethernet 10/100.
contact me at pushkarbhatkoti@yahoo.com for more information.
cheers!
additinally if u want to use the cisco feature called multilink PPP feature. use ppp encapsulation on ur all 4 or 2 E1's WAN /serial interface. Create one loopback address in each end. on ur wan put this ip (ip unnberred on loop0). and make this port to member of the multilink groiup. thats all
or
configure it as a bridge irb and use multilink. thats all.
