ConnectX-6 100G NIC card

Does the ConnectX-6 Dx NIC card (QSFP28) auto negotiate down to 25G SFP28 for Cisco Switch #9500-48Y4C?
Connection between the two devices would be through break-out LC cable. 

NVIDIA mentions that it won't work with this switch as they have not tested it based on their release notes, doesn't mean it won't work.

 - Basically it's only a problem for the device where the ConnectX is being used ; but I doubt it since at the side of the 9500 only supported materials can be used as mention in Cisco Optics-to-Device Compatibility Matrix
             which have fixed speeds  (they won't be triggered into negotiating , if offered)
