I have a WS-C2960CX-8PC-L switch and a DWDM-SFP-4056 GBIC. If I'm reading http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/interfaces_modules/transceiver_modules/compatibility/matrix/GE_Tx_Matrix.html#_Toc476298501 right then they should be compatible. However, I get the error %PHY-4-SFP_NOT_SUPPORTED when I insert my transceiver into an empty SFP slot. Am I missing a prerequisite step to enable that compatibility or is the previously linked documentation incorrect or incomplete?

PHY-4-SFP_NOT_SUPPORTED
It's a known bug. I remembered reading there were some Cisco-branded SFP/SFP+ that would spit out this error message due to bugs. I'd raise a TAC Case just to make sure.

Do you know where I can find documentation of that bug?
