Nexus 3524 port LED off

Hi,

I have two nexus 3524 at two Data Center for interconnect. I am using two dark fiber to connect the switches using 3rd party SFP+ bidirectional module. These are cisco compatible from solid optic. Problem is whenever I punch the SFP+ optics into the nexus ports, LED goes off. I have checked with some non branded 1G modules which are also bidirectional have no problem, LED still on after inserting the modules.

Could any one please answer me why this happen?

Check with sh int bri if port is in error disable, if yes, maybe is the verification of cisco part number of gbic.

I dont know if it work in NX-OX, but in IOS you solve this with the command bellow:

no errdisable detect cause gbic-invalid
