6500 WS-SVC-CMM-6T1 DSP resources

Will install 2x WS-SVC-CMM-6T1 modules in Cat.6509 and would like to confirm the on board DSPs in each WS-SVC-CMM-6T1 module have enough capacity to accomodate 6x T1s and no need to add additional DSP resources such as WS-SVC-CMM-ACT. Thanks.

Hi

The ACT module is just for additional XCODE/conferencing resources, the 6T1 modules will be fine on their own in the line card.33

Appreicate if you can shed some lights on this.

We have one Media Resources Group List, one Media Resources Group and two MoH servers in MRG as below.

MRGL --> MRG --> MoH-A and MoH-B (both are enabled multicast)

Just wonder if MoH-A and MoH-B will run in round robin fashion? That is the first caller got ON HOLD will use MoH-A and the second caller got ON HOLD will use MoH-B and so on... How do MoH servers run in MRG?

MRGs are logical groupings of media resources. A single MRG can contain hardware conference resources, software conference resources, transcoder resources, MOH servers, and software Media Termination Points. An MRG has no user-defined order. All resources in an MRG are considered equal. Therefore, Cisco CallManager loads share between resources of each type in one MRG.

MRGLs are an ordered list of MRGs. All resources in one MRG must be exhausted before Cisco CallManager attempts to use a media resource from another MRG in the same MRGL.
