Hi,
Customer has a 6608 blade and requested to configure the first E1 channel for tests with a separate access number. Is that possible?
Thanks in advance..

If you mean just a single B channel on an E1, then no we do not have a way to do that. But if you are referring to an entire E1 for testing with a separate access number, yes that is possible.

Marina,
If they have a lot of money they could request a circuit from a carrier with only 1 channel active. Chances are they'll be told where to go, and they will not like the answer.
You can of course connect an E1 to a sub configured (less than 30 channels) circuit and any request for an unconfigured channel will be rejected by the carrier and back to the phone via CM.
If the customer doesn't believe you tell him to order the circuit himself and aggree to connect to it when it turns up, after 15 minutes he'll be back on the phone apologising.
