Is the 7960 phone SNMP compliant?
Is the port (on the phone) for an additional PC, also SNMP compliant?
We are doing automated asset discovery and need to know if the pc that is plugged into the 7960 will be able to be discovered using the SNMP protocol.

I just scanned my phone and the snmp port is not open, so I doubt snmp is an option. Perhaps you can use snmp to check mac addresses on the switch port the phone is plugged into. More than one mac would indicate something plugged into the phone.

Hi,
you are able to see e.g. networksettings in the IP-Phone-Webinterface (just the IP-address of your phone). SNMP will not be implemented, but with CDP you can find out, that a Cisco Phone is plugged to a switch.
