I download the tar file in to the router flash.

and try to xtract it localy using this command:

HQ-R#archive tar /xtract /cme-aa-2.0.1.0.tar flash:

extracting en_dest_busy.au (42484 bytes)

%Error opening //en_dest_busy.au (Device in exclusive use)

If I will xtract the tar file from the tftp server is OK.

Pls advise

It could be due to the reason that flash is locked up. A reload might help.

Do you have enough space on the flash ? Remember the switch's flash will have the current running image, your downloaded tar file as well as the files it is expanding (unzipping). The following method is a risk if you experience a reload or power outage happens....if you have CMS files in your flash delete those files ( you will mostly have to do a recursive delete, because CMS files are in a directory)

Deleting the current image from flash is not recommended, but if you dont really have much space on flash then you can delete that and try the archive tar command once again...
