Auto Answer/Intercom/Paging for the 79XX IP phones.

I'm told that an intercom/auto-answer capability is available with Cisco Call

Manager and their SIP phones. I've read though that intercom isn't supported

in the SIP spec. We are running SIP but not CCM; is there a way to get intercom/auto-answer/paging working on the Cisco 79XX phones without running Cisco Call Manager or ITS?

I am pretty much sure that this is not possible with SIP without CM or atleast ITS. If you are interested in achieving this with ITS, you could take a look at
