AutoAttendant Script Modification

We are running an AutoAttendant application that comes with Cisco Call Manager Extended Services.

We are trying to configure it as follows:

When user dials the main number he will be provided with a prompt with options to dial any digit from 0-9 with each digit mapping to a a particular extension.

To acheive this do we have to edit the aa.aef script or is it possible with some nested AutoAttendant.

Please let me know. I will appreciate your response.

You can ammend the script but you need the editor. That is only available in the full version of IPCC Express (Not the cut down variant for AA that comes with Call Manager.

This can still be loaded onto the Call Manager Server providing the session limit is small.

Thanks for the reply.I got the CRA script editor. If I modify the aa.aef script will it work with this limited AutoAttendant version.

Pls let me know.

Thanks

Yes it will work

1. Edit script to include all steps

2. Save and ensure it is in c:/program files/wfavvid directory

3.Open Repsitory manager and upload/refresh that file

4. In AppAdmin you will have to refresh scripts in the engine section.

That all assumes the AA is currently working and all your CTI parts are completed already
