Hi,
On a cluster with 5 Call Managers, we have created 2 Call Manager group. Each contains 3 Call Manager out of five. Those Call Manager groups are part of some Device pools, and those device pools are assigned to some of our IP phones. The IP phones work properly, they receives the info from the cnf, but the Call Manager info is not correct.
The primary Call Manager for the phones are not the one specified in the Call Manager group/device pool assigned to the phone. It connects to a Call Manager that was not in the Call Manager group.
We have looked in the CNF file of the phones and the correct Call Manager are listed. Can someone give a hint on that issue??

In CCMAdmin do you have the servers listed by name or ip address? If you have them listed by name are you sending a dns server ip address to the ip phones so they can resolve the names of the servers. In 3.0 the ip phones use .cnf files in 3.1 and later the phones use .cnf.xml. So if you are running 3.1 or later you may want to look at the xml files as well.
Thank you,

Hi Mike,
the server are listed by name, but hte DNS server is well configured in the IP phones. We have version 3.1 and you are right, thre are .cnf and .cnf.xml file. Here is the .xml file. Can you tell me if you see something wrong with it.
Thanks!
