Understood this would be unsupported by TAC, but I have a customer /Service Provider that is very interested in the advantages of a SAN and integrating his production and development Call Manager servers into his SAN.
Any experiences? Good, bad or indifferent?

Joe, sounds interesting, except there is not a large increasing need on a CCM for storage. On the otherhand, I was thinking about installing a CCM cluster on a single VMware system, think of this as a cluster in a box. For dev purposes this would be great.
As for Unity, the Message Store on a SAN, this seem to be a better fit due to the continuous increasing size of the messge stores.

I totally agree about the storage and capacity not being an issue.....customer is standardizing.
