Call Manager Setup (Distributed Call manager Setup)

I need a little guidance in configuring Call Manager in a distributed enviroment.

Here is the scenario.

I am implementing a test of IP telephoney at two sites.

I have on each site 1 Call Manager and 4 7960 phones.

Each site is connected via a 4M seial line.

I have sucessfully configured the phones / Call Manager on each site and the next phase is to interconnect the two sites.

The questions I have are.

Do I need to add all the phones at site A to the call manager at site B and visa versa?

Do I have to configure call manger at site A as a gateway on call manager at site B and visa versa.

What are the neccessary steps in order to achieve this interconnectivity of the two sites.

Many thanks

Barry

You don't need to add the phones in site A to the callmanager in site B. All you need to do is configure Each callmanager as a h.323(interclustertrunk) device of the other then point route patterns at each callmanager that. So if site B has extensions in the 2000-2099 range. Create a route pattern of 20xx and point it at the ohter callmanager and do the same thing to call back the other way.

I hope this helps,
