Caller ID on CCM 4.0(2a) using MGCP gateway

Folks,

I am not receiving caller id on the phones when users call from the PSTN. I see the digits come through on the gateways when i run "debug isdn q931".

I have MGCP configured between the CCM and the 3745 gateway. I have enabled all the options on the MGCP gateway to be on the safer side.But, still no luck, i get "UNKNOWN NUMBER" displayed on my phone when an PSTN user calls.

Do i have to enable something globally on CCM to turn on caller ID, any help would be highly appreciated.

I don't think you can configure CallerID when MGCP is used. You might need to change the MGCP gateway to H323 Gatway.

This statement is inaccurate.

MGCP is not currently supported with FXO interfaces, however this does not affect PRI which is what the orignial poster is using.
