I am trying to configure an ip trunk between a callmanager 3.3 server and and avaya definity switch. I have created a h323 gateway in cm and a route pattern which goes out the cm to the avaya. I can make a call out this pattern from a phone registered to the cm to an avaya phone it rings two times then I get fast busy. Has anyone been able to get this up and running?

What version of callmanager did you use when you got this running? The version in this doc is 3.01, I am running 3.3?

I am able to get calls to work from avaya to cm phone but calls from cisco to avaya are still having the same problem. This is the trace file any ideas:

Yes, I did it. You need to use G711 and MTP because AVAYA does not understand empty capabilities set (for transfer and holding).
