Hi,
We have a Call Manager and Hitachi PBX integration. Callers when calling from Hitachi side to an IP phone can talk to a IP phone user fine but when a IP phone user is not picking up the phone its not going to Voice mail, its ringing forever.
The Hitachi and the Call Manager is interacting through a VG200 configured as a H323 gateway.
Call someone please help.

Are you going through some type of hunt list to ring the phone. If so, forwarding that's configured on the phone will not take effect. It's only when you call the phone directly ( CallManager v.4..0)

Hi,
There is not Hunt list or group configured for the phone. Its a phone where Call Forward No Answer and CFB are set to VM.
Thanks,
Arijit

You didn't describe your configuration. Are you using Unity for voice mail? Can you direct dial the voice mail pilot DN or port DN's from the pbx? Are the IP phones set to forward busy and forward don't answer to voice mail?

Hi Mcnerney,
Yes the phones are set CFNA and CFB to Voicemail. PBX can dial directly to voicemail pilot.Unity is used as a VM box. The gateway between CallManager and Hitachi PBX is a VG200 box configured as a H323 gateway.
Thanks,
Arijit

Did you ever resolve this? I'm having a similar problem with a VG224 configured as an H323 gateway. Extensions on it can make and receive calls ok, but calls to extensions on the VG224 never get forwarded to voice mail.
