Hi,
I have a 2821 with a VIC-4FXS/DID card...can I use this card for outbound calling if I have it setup for DID. I want to receive DID calls and place outbound calls on this card.
Running IOS 12.3(14)T5.
Thanks!

VIC-4FXS/DID cannot be used to connect to the PSTN. You will need an FXO for outbound. For inbound you can use this card in DID mode if PSTN provide the trunks.
For the documents on the card refer to the list.

Hi lkrol,
seems you are out of luck!
" Serves only incoming calls from the PSTN"

So it also seems to be a software limitation:

Let me know if a newer version or better router changes anything.
On the other hand PRI/BRI don't seem to have this limitation!
