Cat6k gateway for both voice and fax. Is it possible?????

Hi,

Is any one using a cat6k switch for both voice and fax (T.38) gateway in their IPT deployment. I am interested in knowing the following:

a: which protocol/s is used btw the CCM and Cat6k

b: was CM employed as a fax relay at all

c: did you use a different g/w and if so which protocol did you use

d: which fax server apps are you using

Yes, Cat6K 6608 blade should work for both Voice and Fax. The protocol between the CM and 6608 is MGCP
