CCM 4.1(2) Concerto Issue with Unity 4.0(4)SR1 VM Only

Sorry about the cross-post. . .

CCM 4.1(2), OS6SR5, Unity 4.0(4)SR1, Win2K, MSDE2K

I am trying to get "Concerto" aka the Integrated

Mailbox Configuration Account Manager to work

properly.

The error message that I receive when I try to use

this in CCM is "No licenses are available to create

a voice mailbox."

If I create the user directly on Unity, using the

same Subcriber Template (with same CoS) the user is

successfully created.

With this being a new system/integration, we have

almost 500 licenses available.

I followed the debug guidelines in the Integration

Guide for CCM 4.1, but I do not see anything that

sticks out.

Ideas?

Make sure cual is installed in the \Commserver\cscoserv\Tomcat\webapps directory.

Open a browser window on the Cisco Unity server and go to http://localhost/AvXML/EffectiveLicense.asp.

View this page and make sure the license counts report what you expect them to.

- Hello.

I do see that cual is present in the webapps

directory.

I had not run the EffeciveLicense asp, but upon

running it, I believe the output suggests that

all is well.

Any other ideas?

Hi There,

Some questions I have:

Is this a one box Unity deployment?

Is there any error logs with the name "concerto" in the CommServer\cscoserv\Tomcat\logs directory? If so could you forward them my way

Is it possible to tell me what is in the following file: CommServer\cscoserv\concerto\WEB-INF\classes\coppola-licensing-dao.properties

Single (and first) Unity server with VM Only.

I have attached the files you requested regarding

logs and properties files.

I am curious if an error is occuring as when the

effectivelicenses.asp is accessed that the system

is requesting this as https: versus http:, and I

do remember seeing in the integration notes to

make sure "Unity can be accessed via port 80 and

8080" whereas this would be 443.

The root issue does seem to be with SSL with regard

to the AVXML directory. Disabling "require security"

on the AVXML directory seems to have solved the issue.

What I am trying to determine if this became an

issue when SSL was enabled via the install wizard

or if SSL was enabled on that directory manually.

It's the little things. . .

Thanks for the logs - so looking at the diags it appears that SSL may be turned on the AvXML virtual directory.

The mailbox integration application uses the URL in the coppola-licensing-dao.properties file to retrieve the unity licensing information. Please try to directly access the following on your box with a web browser: http://localhost/AvXML/EffectiveLicense.asp - you should see an XML blob - if this URL does not work - licensing information will not be retrieved properly and the mailbox integration application will not function.

Please let me know how it goes.

Note: The SSL security should NOT be enabled on the AvXML directory, so the http URL should work.
