CCM AutoAttendant drops ext. nr. call attempts

AutoAttendant on CM 4.1, outside calls route to AutoAtt, caller has option of entering the ext. nr. of the party. Sometimes/someDNs it routes the call. Sometimes/someDNs the call drops, no announcement, no messages, no re-try. Just dies. On small system, one-CM, <40 phones. 7960s, 7940s, etc.

Are all the phones in the same partition? How many PRIs do you have? It be CSS-partition issue.

If multiple PRIs are all using the same codec? Is there a pattern to this, does it sometimes work for one DN but later it fails for the same DN?

All are in the same partition. There is one PRI. Further test suggest the call hungs up ONLY when the caller uses the Directory to spell out the user, and after Attendant finds DN, and says, "Please Wait" , the Attendant hangs up the call. Further testing will see if it is DN specific, or random. And whether it ever happens when the DN is entered by the calling party. Thanks.
