CCM Software on Compaq G2 1266

Can you install Call Manager relase 3.1 onto the new compaq g2 (DL 380)1266 servers.

We have tried installing, everything ok up to installation disk 4. When the server is rebooted it fails to find the system disk.

You can install 3.1 on those servers - the give away is you should use disk 7 not 4 for those servers.

The correct set of disks is available with CallManager release 3.1(3a) and above.

You should be able to get the upgrade disks if you have SmartNet.

Thanks for the reply Justin. The Call Manager installation disks I have are for the 3.11 release, and there are only six disks in the set (including the CCM software disk).

No because it does not have the image for a G2. You need to download a new set of CDs from the CCO download area.
