I am looking at upgrading our site to CCM3.2.1 soon. We have a need for the auto-answer speakerphone feature, the ATA-186, and a few other devices that cannot be used under 3.1.2. Any and all feedback would be greatly appreciated. We are using IOS gateway w/ NM-HDV's and PA-VXA-1TE1-24+ w/ PRI lines for PSTN connectivity. Our phones are a mix of 7960,7940,7935, and 7910. We have two CM's w/ approximately 600 phones at the moment and will be expanding to about 800 phones in the next two months. We are also running Unity 2.4.6. w/unified licenses. Thanks in advance for your input.

I would go ahead and go to 3.2(2a). I don't even see 3.2(1) on the downloads page anymore.
Thank you,

Just finished upgrading to 3.2(2a).
The ATA-186 will work with 3.1.2. I just wanted to mention this as the main reason I upgraded was I thought I had to to utilize the ATA186. You need to add it in as a 7960 use the MAC from the ATA186. Add a second 7960 for the second port and use the MAC of the ata but lose the first two numbers and append 01 to the end.(e.g 7960 port 1 = 00070edcd10d, 7960 port 2 = 070edcd10d01)
In regards to 3.2(2a)
Make sure and reinstall the JTAPI client with the new version from 3.2. Had some problems with the ATA186 and 3.2. The SCCP/MGCP code for the ATA186 posted on CCO(2.14ms) has a bug that causes the ATA186 to lose connection with the CM periodically. This will be fixed in the next release but this does not come out until sometime in July. If you plan on using 3.2 before then I can e-mail you the 2.12ms code for the ATA186 if your are planning a SCCP/MGCP implementation. The auto-answer feature worked great and I have to say that the upgrade went very smooth. Good Luck.
