what do i need to do forward all traffic from my router (2811) that has to do with voice to an asa5505?

If you have a free public IP, configure a static NAT for it on the asa. That is the simplest and safest method.

i dont have a free public ip,

on my router, i have a static nat translation that forwards everything that comes to my public ip inwards to my asa

If you can have the cme and the router talk directly without going thru the asa, it would be simpler. CME being a router does not need firewall and would see only SIP to the eternal world.

In that case you setup a static inside nat tranalstion for port 5060 to the cme:

ip nat inside source static udp 5060 interface 5060

sorry for the late reply, i have been swamped.

the cme is on the router.i bought the package

2811/ccme.

i will add the static nat translation, but to the firewall though.

Any additional info would be very much appreciated.
