CCME verzus non Cisco IP phones.

Hi all,

could someone reference me

other than Cisco IP phone (other vendor)to work with CCME?

Of course if CCME supports other vendor Ip phones.

Hi,

CCME up to version 3.1 only (to the best of my knowledge) supports SCCP (AKA skinny protocol), which was only shipped with Cisco 79xx series phones, so I believe the answer is no only the Cisco IP phone is supported.

I have heard of grandstream and snom producing phones that support SCCP but have never tried these with these images so could not confirm whether they work.

Cisco CallManager Express (CME) only supports Cisco IP Phones hardware using SCCP protocol today.

IP Blue has a Softphone application that is supported with CME also.

No other phones are TAC supported.

Have not heard of other phones being used by other customers.

Hey Wait, There are a few vendors out there giving SCCP phones. You should check

Now, will it work with CCME is something you have to figure out by testing. I am fairly sure they will work.
