Hi,
I am using a Cisco 7960 IP phone with SIP software with SIP providers. Currently the 7960 SIP Software V7.2 doesn't support STUN. It's only supported in the Cisco ATA's. Does Cisco plan to put STUN support into the 7960 SIP-Firmware ?? Just asking this, because STUN was developed together with Cisco, and it seems that STUN is working without problems in conjunction with NAT-devices. It would be nice if someone from Cisco could give a short answer.
Thank you.

Upgrade to 7.4 - STUN works fine in this version (not called stun, but set up as follows):
nat_enable : 1
nat_address : stun.sipgate.net:10000
Good luck

Well, all I tried, but there is no STUN support with the 7960. Even in 7.5.
The NAT-Enable/NAT-Address parameters will enable another method to be able to cope with the SIP/NAT problem. I'm not quite familiar with that. But something with a "received=" tag..
Is there someone from Cisco listening to give us hope? For STUN?
