My call manager( Publisher) just failed after a restart and the other secondary call managers (subscriber's) have failed to display global Directories, can any one help with how to resolve this, to get the subscribers to display directories contacts?

Manish# thanks for the link, however I an not fully sure how you change this from the DNS server.
Is it possible to change the Publisher Configuration and set the secondary CM to now be the Primary?

Since the Publisher is down, this config change will not work now.

Manish# you are correct, the subscribers are unable to make any changes, do you know of any work around for this as some of the IP phones for some un-know reason did not register with the subscriber when the publisher went down, and I need to get these phone up and running, connected to one of the other subscriber?

Nothing you can do right now, SUBs go to lockdown read-only mode when there is no PUB, assuming your directory config is using hostname, you can change the DNS to point to the SUBs, if you're using IP, then bring up your PUB.

Thanks Jaime for the update. I have two subscribers on the network and most of the IP Phones have registered with one of the two subscribers and for some reason a few of the phones keep dropping out and not registering back to any of the subscribers, however another emerging problem is this subscriber seems to have locked up and I cant login to it via the web interface and not sure what to do. I am not sure if restarting will make things worse as 85% of the phones are registered to this subscriber which has locked up.
Any advice or help will be appreciated, as I am still trying to get the Publisher back on line.

Thanks Chaps, the Motherboard of the publisher has just been replaced and the system is back up and running. Thanks for your support Jaime and Manish.
