Hi,
I'm installing 4.0 in my lab and all I had handy were the 2000.1.2 OS CDs, then I installed 2000.2.6 directly instead of install 2000.2.5, plus SR8, then 2000.2.6.
Anyway, 2000.2.6 installed fine, when I went to kick off 4.0, it errored and said I had an incorrect OS version. After some monkeying around, I edited the registry value were 2000.1.2 was stored and modified to read 2000.2.4 then everything installed fine and everything is up and running.
My question is, should this matter? Doesn't the 2000.2.6 Windows patch update drivers, etc?

Jon,
All installs of Call Manager for versions of 3.3.3 and above required a fresh install of OS 2000.2.3 or higher. The latest released OS is 2000.2.4. I recommend upgrading to OS 2000.2.5, an upgrade only.
2000.2.6 will be released in a few weeks.

Denny,
That's fine... I understand that... I guess the question is, is there really a differnece? I stopped the install of 2000.1.2 when I inserted the CM disc, so there was no SQL or anything applied yet which I believe was the reason for the 3.3 refresh of the OS (went from SQL7 to SQL2k).
I assume the only differences really between these releases is newer SPs, Drivers and HotFixes.
The install of CM4.0 adds the SQL2k and the rest.
