I believe this is possible but just want to
make sure... Can you map a different AD field to the CallManager username
field? Basically, I would like to use the Extension field in AD as the
CallManager username for each each user.

Yes, this is possible. During AD plugin setup, one of the options asks you what attribute to use when searching for usernames. The default is samaccountname. Change this to extension (im not sure if this is the right name).

Yeah, but can you change it so the username field is ACTUALLY the extension field in AD. That way users could login via extension mobility using their extension as the userid (while still maintaining current AD user ID).

The extension field in AD is actually called "telephoneNumber".
