Hi,

I am having an cisco 3745 router which i want to configure as conference bridge and get that registered with callmanager 4.1.3 as IOS Based Conf. Bridge. I am having NM_HDV Module in that with inbuilt dsp resources.

Can anybody help me in configuring my router because whenever i start to enable conference it shows that total number of connections equals zero.

So, I need the configurations.

Thanks

I'm having a similar problem too. We have a 3745 with vers 12.3(8)t with NM_HDV modules (CCM is 3.3.4). I'm no expert on configuring gateways, but here's what we get when doing a sho dsp all:

It looks like I should have a conference bridge, but I can't get it to register to the Call Manager. I've made sure the conference bridge configured in CCM is in the right Media Group.

Regardless, I've pasted part of our config for the 3745 that might help. Our config may be wrong too since the conference bridge isn't registering. Hopefully, someone will reply to help us. :)

It depends on what IOS you're running, but at least for 12.3T6:

voice-card x

dspfarm

dsp services dspfarm

sccp local (L0 is good for this)

sccp ccm priority <1-3>

sccp

dspfarm conference maximum sessions x

dspfarm

Also, in CCM you need to specify the MAC address of f0/0 for the device name in the format CFBxxxxxxxxxxxx.

When all is done you should be able to show sccp and see:

Conferencing Oper State: ACTIVE - Cause Code: NONE

Active Call Manager: xx.xx.xx.xx, Port Number: 2000

TCP Link Status: CONNECTED

HTH,

Jeff

Hi Jeff,

I did my configurations but still it doesn't allows me to add conference sessions to more than 0. Can u suggest whats going wrong.

i am pasting the conf. can u check that.

That looks like it ought to work. What NMs are you using, how many DSPs are there, and what IOS?

Do you need all of those codecs? Try only configuring g711 and see if you have any sessions available.

Here's a doc that might help (if you haven't seen it already):

HTH,

Jeff

Hi Jeff,

I am using NM_HDV2 voice card. 16 DSP it shows per card. I have 4 cards in my router.

IOS is 12.3(14)T.

I have also changed the codec and using only g711.

But its the same.

Can u suggest why its not showing.

Thanks

Have you discovered a solution to this? I am running into the same issue with a 3825. I have even removed all IOS enhanced MTP, and Transcoders and still cannot get more than a quantity of <0-0> for the available conference bridges.

Thanks!
