The top-right corner normally displays only the DN xxxx of the first line. I would like the display shows the complete phone number in the format of 416-555-xxxx. If that cannot be done, just showing the company's published number will do: 416-555-1212.
Any suggestions on how that's done on CM40 ?
Thanks

This is actually the External Phone Number Mask applied to the DN of the primary Line. The only allowed Characters are [0-9], *, and #. It doesn't allow the '-' character. You can however put the full 10-Digit number by putting 416555xxxx in the Mask Field under the Line appearance for the Primary Line of the phone.

That's exactly what it's intended to display. On CallManager, the upper right hand corner displays the configured External Number Mask of the first DN on the phone, which is simply the DN itself if no mask is explicitly configured.
Go into the configuration of the first DN, and fill in an appropriate wildcard for the External Number Mask. If the DN is 1234, filling in an External Number Mask of 416555XXXX will result in the phone displaying 4165551234 in the upper right corner.
