Since the Cisco WebEx Recording Editor doesn't appear to support Mac OSX, is there a way to convert Cisco WebEx recordings, .WRF and .ARF files, to .WMV or .SWF for a Mac OSX users?

It's ridiculous that any software these days would only work on one platform.  Get with it WebEx/Cisco!

WebEx has supported recording meetings MP4 instead of ARF format since WBS29. Furthermore, there is a WebEx Network Based Recording Player available for Apple macOS should you need to watch an ARF file.

The Network-Based Recording Player for Mac has certainly been available for some time.  However, it's feature-limited compared to the equivalent for Windows, in that the Mac version can't convert ARF to anything ... all it can do is play them.  And there's no Editor for Mac.

Furthermore, ARF is the default format for recording, and it's impossible to force colleagues to record their meetings in MP4, let alone folks outside one's organization, so converting a preexisting ARF effectively requires Windows.

I wouldn't call any of this "support for Macs", more like "begrudgingly acknowledging the existence of Macs".

What Cisco should really do is contribute a HandBrake[1] input plugin for ARF (and WRF) so that anyone can convert, archive, and edit meeting recordings in whatever format they need.  Failing that, at the very least, add conversion to MP4 to Network-Based Recording Player for Mac.

Per the Play and Convert WebEx Recordings document:

The WebEx Network Recording Player does not support converting recordings to MP4 format on Mac systems.

"WebEx has supported recording meetings MP4 instead of ARF format since WBS29"

How do I set this up? I cannot find the option to record as Mp4 instead of ARF in Webex meetings.
