can any one provide a detailed document of  database replication.

as well as issues u have faced with database replications and solution for that problem.

from experience i can honestly say, if your DB replication brakes, and rebooting boxes is not fixing it, yoou are on to TAC. DB replication is delicate and hard to troubleshoot.

Also use “utils diagnose test” to validate the platform basics; both NTP and DNS issues can torpedo DB replication.

hi,

although the previous two replies covers almost everything. but you can use cisco reporting tool as one of the navigation option on the CCM and then go to the replication option. you can generate  the report and troubleshoot accordingly.

basic requiremnts are :

1) NTP

2) good communication between the sub and pub

3)rhost and sqlhost files which may corrupt by changing hostname.
