I have a remote site where 7912 IP Phones are installed. Users keep complaning that there phones keep resetting to the default settings which means the ring is really loud. Has anyone else seen this problem? Is there a setting in Call Manager that I need to fix or is this a problem with 7912 IP Phones. Any Help would be appreciated. Thanks

Check the Settings Access parameter in phone configuration in CCM Admin. If it is disabled, users will not be able to change their volume or other settings such as ring type and contrast.

The problem is they can't change there settings but the problem is when the phone gets unplugged or rebooted all of the previous settings like ring volume are lost. This issue doens't happen on any other phones except for the 7912. Is there something I need to do for the phones to remember there previous settings.
