Currently I have a Cisco Call Manager 3.3(3)sr4 using 8 vg248 fxs ports connected to a castelle fax press 5000 server. On those 8 ports I have our main fax number coming in on line one and forwarding the call to the next number if busy or no answer. That works fine, but I would like to do is add did auto fax routing to the fax server. I am told by Castelle support that if the pbx system is capable of doing DID to DTMF conversion the
output string should be compatible with faxpress. I have a sample config doc from castelle that shows using a 3725 router, a 4 port internal fxs card and utilizing dial peers to forward the calls to the fax server. Can I use the vg248 to do it instead? Or can someone tell me the best way I can add DID Auto Fax routing with the Cisco Call Manager and the Castelle fax press 5000 server using the vg248?

I think VG-248 can support only FXS port which can't be used for DID applications.

thanks vmoopeung,
i did find out that it is not possible to do this on the VG248 since it only supports the SCCP protocol. I would need to use our 1700 router and add a CIS-VIC-4FXS/DID card to it to accomplish this.
