We installed a new Cisco 3845 ISR, is it possible to disable a ringer tone on each ephone-dn or is it possible to assign a button or specified number to disable the ringer tone? thanks and waiting for a reply.

For CME, you can use the b (beep) or s (silent) button option when you apply the DN's to the handset buttons -

b-Beep but no ring. Audible ring is suppressed for incoming calls, but call-waiting beeps are allowed. Visible cues are the same as those described for a normal ring.
s-Silent ring. Audible ring and call-waiting beep are suppressed for incoming calls. The only visible cue is a flashing ((< icon in the phone display.

Beside what Paul suggest, that is the "permanent" configuration in which the line does not ring, use the DND softkey to temporarily disable audible alerting.
Hope this heps, please rate post if it does
