The company I'm with will likely do an RFP for telco services in the fall with out local telco providers. We're a medium size business (200 or so employees) with two PRI's and a bunch of analog business lines. We also have a long distance contract.
I was wondering if anyone else here has had to prepare an RFP for telco related services for a business? Any things to watch out for, clauses to include, etc?
I was hoping someone would be willing to post such an RFP document for review :)
Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi Steven,
I have participated in the preparation of a few Telco RFP's. Unfortunately these type of documents can't be posted :( Usually Technical people (like us) are working with Finance/Legal/Material Management/Supply Line types who do these up for a living due to the legal aspects of such processes. If there is no-one in your Company who does these up then I would look into using a Professional Services group to help you out or at least purchase a RFP Software package (there are many available)
Make sure you take some time to think about all existing Telco related services PBX/IP-PBX/Voicemail/PRI's/Analog Trunks/Payphones/Maintenance/SLA's/Billing etc. etc. that you want covered in the RFP.
Here are a couple of reference docs;
http://www.rfp-templates.com/RFP-Template.html

Hope this helps!
