Hi,
I cant find a document on CCO that says how many conferences the below config supports. It says max sessions 6.
Does that mean 6 x 8 party conference?
As the PVDM2 with later IOS support 8 party conferences.
Or does the above mean 6 parties total?
I would like to find some doco that explains the below. Not just the config but how many conferences total
dspfarm profile 10 conference
description HW_Conf
codec g711ulaw
codec g711alaw
codec g729ar8
codec g729abr8
codec g729r8
codec g729br8
maximum sessions 6
associate application SCCP
Thanks

Hi,
"maximum sessions 6" means that there can be 6 maximum conferences at any particular time. The number of participants who can join in depends on the "Maximum Ad-hoc Conference*" parameter in the Service parameter page. This is different from the max no. of conferences.
Maximum number of participants per conference equals 8 when using a NM-HDV2.
Let me know incase of any questions.

Hmm,
I'll investigate that.
Perf mon shows me a number of 48 available when I add the conference counter HW.
I'll check to see what the service parametre is set too.
I still would like to see a CCO link that explians it.
PVDM2-64 configuration with explanation.
Also from memory the pvdm2-64 dsp support 8 parties
conference as apposed to six with the older DSP
Thanks

That's true - the PVDM2-64 supports 8 participants in a single conference session - previously it was only 6 participants.
