E911 Call Center

Has anyone or does anyone know of a E911 call center using SS7 trunks on a Call Manager. We are a small city in Illinois with Call Manger installed for city wide use. Our powers to be would like to add our PSB onto our Call Manager. I have read that Cisco supports SS7 trunking but everything I have seen is just on paper.

I worked on a proposal for a new 911 system in New York City. I doubt SBC (or local LEC) will want to sent ss7 calls to a call manager server. Having said that they can provision regular ISDN trunks that have ANI information on the inbound 911 call. So call manager can definitely answer the calls.

I guess you already possess the ALI dip software.
