Hi,
I am trying to configure 7960 phone with two 14 line expansion module for our front office.when ever we receive a call on this phone & want to transfer the call to another extension , the transfer button on the phone gets disabled.But the same is working fine on other 7940 phones.We are using CCM 4.0(2a).
Where should I configure to enable transfer softkey on the 7960 phone.

Hi,
You can configure a softkey templte in the Administration page by going to Device-> Device Settings->Softkey Template.
I think you should try disabling Call Waiting on those lines and then try to do the Transfer. That will work hopefully.

you might want to check the max calls setting on the line. I have seen people set it to 1 and cause this sort of behavior, (transfer button greys out)
