Hi,
I am trying to display contents of a website which requires me to login each time i exit the webpage.
Is there a way to include the username and password in the url itself or is there a way to change the DMP web account to match the username and password which is needed for the website?
I already tried using the format http://username:password@url.com

Sorry, this type of functionality is not available on the DMP.
A lot of the responsibility resides on the Hosting Site on how it
accepts the authentication or Login credentials. A web or app savy
developer could probably develop a App (like for iPhone or iTouch)
which could bring up a Virtual Keyboard which could be used with
the DMP-4400G and a supported Touchscreen. Then the user could
add the credentials using the touch screen.
Cheers!

Is there a work around? Without developing an App or anything. The host website is not under my control so any modifications from their side is virtually not possible.

What is the URL link? so I can see what type of Authentication challenge it is asking for?
* What type of website is it like? Is the Website a site like www.cisco.com where you can
access it but to get more detail you need to login?
* Is it a situation where data is behind a VPN and you need to authenticate first via web before
access is granted? Similar to our Cisco VPN\ECT routers...
In General, there is no workaround. Remember, there is no way to send input (like keyboard) or add a response from the
DMP other then Touch Screen.

The URL is www.cisco.com, it is basically a case queue website. I think I did a NSlookup and I believe the server is on 172.x.x.x but I maybe mistaken.
Thanks,
