Exchange behavior when co-res'ed with Unity 4.0

What are the characteristics of Exchange to Exchange communications when installed co-resident with Unity 4.0 and configured for failover?

Also what is the subscriber limit with this topology?

More specifically -- what amount of traffic (bps) moves between the (2) Exchange servers? What is the interval that the data is moved between the primary and the backup?

When doing Unity failover, Exchange is not supported on the Unity boxes. It's supposed to be off on its own server.
